Weekly Update
The Moving Up Service in Wells last Wednesday was an important event for our Year 6 as they gathered with hundreds of other primary school leavers from across the diocese in the Cathedral. This special service marks the end of their primary journey and beginning of secondary. Pupils heard from Year 7s about their experience and about being prepared for this next stage of education. They received a candle for the school which will be used in collective worship for the coming year.
The glorious weather provided near perfect conditions for the Year 5 & 6 Bikeability course which is designed to give the pupils the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today’s roads.
Our Year 3 & 4 pupils enjoyed a visit to the Newt on Thursday to experience life in a Villa walking in the footsteps of our Roman ancestors.
This week it is Sports Day on Wednesday afternoon which starts at 2pm. It looks set to be fine weather. We look forward to welcoming you there.
