Weekly update

Pupils in Year 5 and 6 took part in a live online careers event on Friday on Zoom. They learnt about careers in the maritime industry. They met and asked questions to a Naval Architect, Boat Builder and Deck Officer. The event was organised through Inspiring the Future, part of the Education and Employers charity which connects workplace volunteers with schools to broaden children and young people’s horizons, raise their aspirations and increase their motivation to learn.

Polite reminders from the office:

· If your child is absent, please contact us as soon as possible that day to explain the reasons for the absence.

· It is essential that hot meal orders are made by midnight on Monday for the following week.

· In the interests of safety, please use the main car park (the front row staff car park is not to be used for drop off or pick up unless use of the disabled bay has been agreed with the school) Thank you.
