Parent Update
On Friday, we enjoyed the very special Bedtime Reading event at the church, showcasing the love of reading and books (and hot chocolate) within our West Chinnock community. A big thank you goes out to our local church, the PFA and all the dedicated volunteers who made this evening possible. In the warm and inviting atmosphere, pupils could immerse themselves in the joy of storytelling. This event not only highlighted the importance of reading but also fostered a strong sense of friendship and respect amongst pupils of all ages (please see photos on the next page).
Oak Class - calling all designers!!! With the new shelter for Acorn Class, we would like to convert the top shelter into an area more suited for our older pupils. This week, we are launching a design competition for Years 3-6 to think about how they would want this space to be used. Please make your designs on an A4 sheet of paper and give to Mrs O’Grady or Mr Caswell by Easter. We will incorporate ideas from the winning designs and work with the PFA to make this project possible!
For Red Nose Day on Friday, children may come to school dressed in red (we have decided not to sell Red Noses at school this year. They are available to buy online or you could consider red face paint).
Finally, please look out for poster later this week with information on the Easter Bonnet and Garden Competitions!
