Weekly Update
“Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and all its fullness; let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice.” Psalm 96
We look forward this week to the Harvest Service on Thursday afternoon in the Church. Please do join us to celebrate this special and important festival where we say ‘thank you’ for the harvest and those who provide for us. The changing season and variety of colours at this time of year might provide inspiration for pupils to take a picture for the upcoming Photo Contest and the opportunity to show their interpretation, through a photo, of one of these school values: Respect, Community, Aspiration, Thankfulness, Perseverance or Compassion.
On Wednesday this week, we open our doors for the School Open Day. Please do let prospective families know - encourage them to contact the school to arrange a tour! Finally, we look back to the immersion day on 18th September when Oak Class held an Egyptian themed day including everything from explorers, 1920s fashion, mummies, pharaohs, Cleopatra and even a pyramid!
Have a good week. Mr Caswell
