Weekly Update

A very warm welcome back to school for the Summer Term.  I hope you have had a peaceful and restful Easter and pupils are excited about the weeks ahead.

We were joined at school today by Rev Nick to launch this term’s value; Compassion.  Rev Nick talked about the parable of the Good Samaritan, how looking out and caring for others this can be an example to follow in our lives and in the attitudes and behaviour of everyone in our school.

The redecoration is complete in Acorn Class and Mrs Callaghan has been busy setting up the classroom for the start of term.

It looks set to be an exciting term ahead with new curriculum projects starting in each class this week.  Curriculum letters will be sent out by early next week.

The picture this week is of the front cover of the Norton and Chiselborough Flower show.  Children from both West Chinnock and Norton contributed and their drawings will adorn the programme.  A massive well done and thank you to everyone involved.  We look forward to entering some of the classes later this term.

Please save the date - Wednesday 1st May is the next Headteacher—parent coffee morning. 

After school clubs start next week.  Please see separate sign up letter which has been sent out today.  Please sign up by Wednesday 17th April.
