Weekly Update
Following our recent SIAMS inspection at West Chinnock, we are thrilled that the report speaks positively about our school saying ‘this Church school is making rapid progress enhancing the impact it makes. The vision has a greater
prominence, giving clear strategic direction for improvements’. The conclusion is that West Chinnock is ‘living up to its foundation as a Church school’. At the start of a new term and year, this is welcome news and reassurance that we are on the right track as we progress towards excellence.
This success would not have been possible
without the tremendous work, commitment,
collaboration and coming together of our school community – the pupils, staff, parents, governors and volunteers.
This week Oak Class head to Weymouth as WWII Evacuees linked to their project last half term ‘Britain at War’. Meanwhile Acorn Class learn about our school in the past, putting events in chronological order.
Thank you to you all and wish you a successful week.
